Ingredients:

For the Mahi-Mahi:

  • 4 mahi-mahi fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional, for heat)

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For Garnish:

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Lemon wedges

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Mahi-Mahi:

  • Rinse the mahi-mahi fillets and pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.

2. Make the Marinade:

  • In a medium bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, chili powder (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.

3. Marinate the Fish:

  • Coat the mahi-mahi fillets evenly with the marinade.

  • Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

4. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

5. Cook the Mahi-Mahi:

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  • Place the fillets in a single layer in the basket, shaking off excess marinade before placing them.

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The fish should be flaky and slightly golden.

6. Serve:

  • Transfer the mahi-mahi to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.

Pro Tips for Success:

  • Marination Time: The longer you marinate, the deeper the flavor. If short on time, 20 minutes still delivers great results.

  • Avoid Overcrowding: Cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.

  • Custom Spices: Add a pinch of garam masala for an extra layer of authentic Indian flavor.

Serving Suggestions:
